We were alerted last minute to a Pumpkin Run in Lakewood. Sabrina and her friend Brooke (and Brooke's brother, Kyle) each ran in different age categories. Sabrina ran 1km (about .6 miles). She was the only girl in her age group and she had to run against 5 boys. She ran her little heart out and won with a time of 4min 17sec. Since she came in first she won a ticket to Disneyland! Wow!

Sabrina ran with her friend Brooke when it was Brooke's turn. Brooke doesn't really like to run, but does her best every time. Sabrina ran with her for encouragement....I think it worked because Brooke ran 1.5km (about 1 mile) with a GREAT time of 7 min and ?sec. (Kyle ran real well also.)I'm so proud of these kids and how hard they try at running.
