We have made it tradition to do something Disney for every anniversary. Our first date was to Disneyland. Gian proposed to me at the wishing well at Disneyland. Our honeymoon was to Walt Disney World. Our first anniversary was back to Walt Disney World. And it's been back to Disneyland every year since. This year Gian took the day off work (Friday) and our family jumped in with taking care of the kids so we could go away for the day. (Thanks Mom for going to Sabrina's Power Lunch day. Huge thanks to Tiff for taking the kids all day and then surprising us by keeping them all night, even Charlee!!)
So we started out by going to California Adventure. Our goal was to go on all the "big kids rides" since that rarely happens.
Tower of Terror was first on our list...we LOVE that ride!!!
Then on to lunch and then to Screamin'. Let me just let you in on a little secret...do not eat before this ride if you are over the ripe old age of 35. I felt a little loopy after our ride and had to take a moment on the bench. Normally this ride doesn't bother me...however, I was a little weak this time. Age? Food? or just plain getting whimpy??? We went on a couple other rides and then off to Disneyland.
Gian's absolute fav!!! He is counting down until the new Indy movie comes out...so we had to hit up this ride for sure! We also went on Buzz Lightyear (I beat Gian, finally). Then the heat really kicked in, so we decided to take a break in the shade. Unbeknownst to us the parade was coming soon, so we just parked it and watched the people go by. Seriously, I could just sit at Disneyland forever and watch people. 
Pretty soon we were entertained by these guys...The TrashCan Trio. They are great and it's rare that we get to see them. They stopped right in front of us and gave us great show! After the parade, we went to dinner at Gian's old stomping grounds. He worked here for a little over 10 years. Ahhh, memories.....ahhhh, yummy food!!!
So, there you have it. Our day at Disney! What a blast being alone together and having a great time!

My fun to be with Sabrina. You are a lucky pair to be able to celebrate at Disneyland every year, and to have Tiff and family to help make that happen.

Happy Anniversary! I could sit and people watch for hours and Disneyland too, and I often do while saving spots for parades!
