City of Lynwood track meet

Yep, you guessed it. Yet another track meet. And there will be one every weekend until at least June...so skip over these if you want...but I post them anyway for those that are interested (Nana and Papa). For those of you who are not familiar with track and field, meets are not just a one hour event as with other sports. They usually start around 8am and can last at least 5-6 hours. This particular meet lasted until almost 3pm and they still had not started the older kids yet. Ugh! There is a lot of lag time!!!!! (to say the least) So track is literally our lives right now...not much else is getting done at the DelBello household.
Sabrina did well at this meet. She hit a PR (personal record) for the long jump yet again. Last week she jumped 8 feet 6 inches. This meet she jumped 9 feet.
She ran the 100m in 16.4 sec. She ran the 200m in 28 sec. Pretty good stats.
Sabrina jumping, duh.
Sabrina running, duh.
So Cal Running Wild.

Great Job Sabrina! You are so lucky to have such a wonderful supportive family to sit in the hot sun all day to watch their favorite runner. Amy-Sue, I hope that nasty sunburn turns into a nice tan.

Hooray for you Sabrina! Keep up the great effort. It is a long day, next time I'm going to bring a book--and some food for papa!
Love ya Nana
