Tough times

This weekend brought a minor health scare to our family. Our sweet Sabrina is having some medical issues. I won't go into details- but I just wanted to say that I am so grateful for each of my children and for the opportunity that I have to be their mom. I love each one of my girls for who they are- difficult times, fun times, scary times, and all the times in between. Heavenly Father has certainly given me a huge responsibility with these girls. I am grateful for His guidance. I am grateful for the power of prayer.
Sabrina's going to be okay. And we are full of gratitude for her and each of the sweet girls that we are blessed with.

Trial #2.....I miss my parents. They have only been gone a week, but it's been difficult not being able to communicate with them. They do not have phone communication where they are. No wonder people from Wyoming are so primitive....they live in the boon-docks!!!!

I miss their advice, craziness and just being able to talk to them when I need them most! 12 weeks may not seem long to others, but to me-it's eternity! Again, I am grateful for prayer. Knowing that Heavenly Father is watching over them is comforting. I am grateful for their willingness to serve. What a wonderful example they are to all those around them!

These trials are temporary and will eventually fade away. They are just an opportunity for me to grow closer to the Lord and to build my faith. My heart is full.

Your family is in my prayers. Hugs to sweet Sabrina too! I'm so glad she'll be ok. Thanks for opening my eyes more- your testimony of trials is strengthening to me as well. It's amazing how tough times do build faith and do bring us closer to Heavenly Father. Thanks for the reminder. You have the right attitude. You will pull through all of this and continue to be blessed. =)

My mom just turned in mission papers and I know I'm going to die while she is gone. Who will I turn while she is gone?!? I totally empathize!

So glad Sabrina will be okay. How scary!

I know it's got to be hard with your parents gone. Even after being married for 20 years, my mom is always the first one I call for advice. Isn't it great though that they have shorter service missions now? I would hate to have my parents gone for two years!

I wish I had read all of these sooner! I hope that Sabrina is doing better, she is in our thoughts and prayers. I totally agree about missing the parents. I wouldn't know what to do when they go on thier mission (just waiting until my dad is done with being bishop) We love you guys!!!
