Mt. Sac in Walnut, CA is one of THE TOUGHEST cross country meets!
That being said, Sabrina ROCKED it!!
I was worried about how she would do, since she has been running about middle of the pack at the past meets. But, I think her competitive spirit came out for this meet and I think she is finally getting into the groove of running again.
Here she is at the start line. I guess it was so hot (at 9am) that they had a slight delay and made all the girls go stand in some shade for a few moments until they were ready. So not only is the course hard...it was stinkin' HOT!
Look at the concentration on her face. It's her game face!

Tired, but almost to the finish.
Her final time was 14:43. Yes, a little slower....BUT....
She still managed to get one of these!!
She came in 8th place (only top 8 got a medal).
And she was 8th out of 72 girls!!! Awesome! We are so proud of you, Sabrina!
