October Overview

October went by in whirlwind. Not that we were busy, but it just seemed like we walked around lost all month long.
The big highlight of the month was Halloween, of course. I'm not a huge fan of Halloween...some things we do "for the children".
So here are a few pictures from our church Halloween party, courtesy of Craig Sampson!
Charlee as Minnie Mouse.

Tabitha as a cowgirl. (I'm not sure what she is doing in this picture...but it's totally her!)

And Sabrina as a witch. Luckily she has an aunt who LOVES Halloween and LOVES to do face make up! Doesn't she look cool?!

In other October news, Sabrina has been training with her dad for cross country season. She has run in about 3 or 4 races and her time has been pretty consistent with a 6:30 minute mile. Rockin' the cross country scene once again! Her next two races are qualifiers for nationals (like this last year)...so she could use some good thoughts!
Tabitha has been busy learning all she possibly can in 2nd grade. She is loving school. She has become quite the book worm and I'm looking for an recommendations for good books for her to read. And she is totally addicted to playing teather ball!
Charlee and I have been enjoying some time playing at the park, going to Disneyland, going shopping, running errands and watching Hi-5!
I'm ready for November and for remembering all the many things I have to be grateful for.

Best of luck Sabrina as you begin another racing season! I look forward to reading about all of your accomplishments on your Mom's blog :)

Good books for Tabitha are the Ivy and Bean series. You could borrow them from Morgan if you want. Her favorites, and she reads them over and over again.

They all look so cute! Sabrina even looks beautiful green. That's just not right! And 6:30? Are you kidding me? That's crazy!!! Wow!
